My name is Jade and I am a passionate UX and UI designer passionate about building scalable, user-centric digital experiences that drive business outcomes. I'm dedicated to continuously improving my skills and have ventured into the world of front-end development and other related disciplines.
I am constantly motivated to enhance my skills within the UX/UI field, and as a result, I actively participate in design workshops and engage with the UX Edinburgh community and entrepreneur seminar spaces.
I strongly believe in the power of collaboration and building strong relationships. I thrive on learning something new every day, which helps me improve myself both personally and professionally. I thoroughly enjoy meeting new people who are enthusiastic and unafraid to share their ideas.
Tech platforms are getting more distracted by profit and selling people to unhealthy additive lifestyles, they are forgetting to design for the benefit of people. I feel it is up to us as designers to keep focused and realign our aims with humanity’s best interest.
We are only human, therefore we cannot know everything. I am constantly learning and finding ways to try improve my skills and challenge myself. A few of the ways that I like to learn is through participating in design sprints, seminars, reading blogs and online courses.
No matter what position you are at in a company, always treat people with the respect you would like to receive. Because at the end of the day, we are all the same and you don’t know what others are facing. Stay humble and true.
Always have passion for something, you can create amazing things with this! There isn’t much to life if you aren’t enjoying what you’re doing. Make sure you find something you are passionate about and channel it. In today’s world, you can make anything into a career, so explore what life has to offer!
